The United Service Organization (USO) is an international organization dedicated to keeping the members of the United States military connected with their families. The USO has four locations in the Chicagoland area at Midway Airport, Great Lakes and two at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Terminals 2 and 3.
The USO serves the military and their families through programs such as Operation Phone Home, which allows service members to make free phone calls home and provides free internet services; USO Tickets for Troops, which provides tickets to sporting and entertainment events like the Cubs, Bears, White Sox, and theater; Sweet Home Chicago Care Packages; and Operation Enduring Thanks.
The USO provides transition services for military members transitioning back to civilian life and is present to support families of the fallen, who make the ultimate sacrifice.
